A conference was organized yesterday, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, in the late afternoon, at the “Swiss Press Club”, for the presentation of a book entitled “Morocco, the potential of transformative change”, written by the Swiss economic development expert of Moroccan origin, Noureddine Obbad.
Noureddine Obbad highlights, in her book, the progress made by the Kingdom, in terms of economic development, since the accession of HIS MAJESTY KING MOHAMMED VI, MAY GOD ASSIST HIM, to the Throne of his glorious ancestors. The author evokes in particular all that has been achieved in terms of road, airport and port infrastructure, as well as in terms of renewable energies and social development.
This conference was co-presented by Professor Henry-Louis Vedie, French economist, professor emeritus at HEC Paris and member of the Moroccan Think Thank “Policy Center for the New South” of which he is a Senior Fellow.
In addition, this conference was held in the context of the 50th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, the aim being to highlight all these achievements. The conference was attended by a fairly large number of foreign diplomats, journalists, Swiss nationals from different backgrounds and Moroccans.
